I took the ice facing of the original file and sliced it from the balance as narrowly as I could without creating holes. I duplicated it, rotated the second 180 degrees, aligned and joined them within Meshmixer. I made them solid then hollow at the highest resolutions available. I then set the dimensions and trimmed the bottom to flat. Both sides look the same.
My printer is an Ender 3 with a 0.4 nozzle diameter. I started with the LH profile (Luke Hatfield). I then set infill to 0%, initial layer to 106%, print speed to 40mm/s, temperatures to 225C for all nozzle temps and 55C for all bed temps. I put blue tape as well on the heated glass just to be sure I didn’t lose adhesion. I added brim for taller prints which can be seen in the photos.
The PLA: 3D Solutech See Through Aqua Blue 3D Printer PLA Filament 1.75MM Filament, Dimensional Accuracy +/- 0.03 mm, 2.2 LBS (1.0KG).
I use Mage Knight Dungeons, so I printed my short walls to 57mm tall to match the dungeon walls. I also printed at 100mm and 150mm tall with a 20mm deep base. Pictures include comparison to the commercially available version taken outdoors, the very blue looking one was taken with flash and shows detail well, and the last demonstrates the light passing through.
Nothing was done to them after printing.
Enjoy
