This is a scan of a small cat statue in a stretch pose. The statue was constantly being knocked off the window sill by our real cat who apparently didn't like the competition. The statue had some damage, so I repaired what I could and then scanned it with the DAVID SLS-2 scanner and TT-1 turntable. Then hid the remaining damage using meshmixer software. The result is an amazing replica of the original statue and it's very difficult to find where it was damaged. And now, printed out of ABS it's a lot tougher for our cat, Ziggy, to break. And even if he does manage to break it, I can just print another one! He is not pleased.
This prints really well. Just need some supports for under her left leg, and belly. Maybe the chin and the last third of her tail, depending on how well your printer handles overhangs.
It may help to drop the mesh in Z slightly into your bed during slicing. Perhaps 0.2 to 0.4mm at most. But I tried to set up the mesh so that it sits flat on your bed as is.
